Christi was born and raised in Opelika and received her degree in radiation therapy in 2003. Her passion for wanting to help others treat cancer began when her grandmother was diagnosed with a brain tumor on Christi’s last day of 8th grade. She was greatly impacted by how everyone showed care for her grandmother and loved her like she did. After graduating from radiation therapy school, she got to work with one of the therapists that treated her grandmother. For over 20 years, she has committed herself to getting to know her patients and encouraging them throughout their treatments. Ask Christi and she’ll tell you this is her calling, and she genuinely loves what she does.
Christi is a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists and is certified in both radiology and radiation therapy with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
She is married to her high school sweetheart, Bo, and has two children. She spends most of her free time watching her kids playing sports. Christi also loves to travel to the beach and spend time with friends.
